The Mount Vernon Fire Department has planned a "NIGHT OF LAUGHTER" to be held Friday evening, April 9th, 2010 at the Governer Hill Mansion (formerly the St. Pauls Center) 136 State Street in Augusta.
Doors open at 7 p.m., show will be at 8 p.m. A cash bar is available so we ask that people drink responsibly.
This is a unigue opportunity to see three talented comedians locally, no need to drive to the big city of Portland
for this one. Local comedian, Kelly MacFarland (from Winthrop) will start things off, she's appeared on the Biggest
Loser and a regular at the Comedy Connection in Portland; Graig Murphy is on Bostons WEEI and performed at the Boston
Comedy Festival, and the headliner will be Jimmy Dunn from NESN and Jimmy Kimmel Live.
Tickets are just $25.00 each and are available through the Mount Vernon Fire Department.
Tickets must be purchased ahead of time.
If interested please contact John Rice at castleisland@gwi.net or by phone 293-2266. All checks must be made payable to Mount Vernon Fire Company. Geoff Houghton, owner of the Liberal Cup in Hallowell and Governer Hill Mansion in Augusta has kindly donated the space for this event, thank you Geoff.
