ThinkPad for Firefighter Training
Grant received from IBM

The Fire Department is committed to rigorous, on-going training for all members. The ThinkPad will be used for computer based self-guided training programs. Firefighters will be able to borrow the ThinkPad so they can complete courses at home at their convenience.

Webmaster Stan Hapeman (IBM retiree) applied for a non-matching IBM Community Grant. IBM encourages employees and retirees to volunteer with educational and non-profit community activities.
