NIGHT OF COMEDY

Mount Vernon Fire Company will be hosting a "NIGHT OF COMEDY" at The Governer Hill Mansion (formerly the St. Paul Center), 136 State Street, Augusta Maine Friday, April 9th, 2010. Doors open at 7 p.m., acts will begin at 8 p.m.

This is a unique opportunity to have three headliners for one event. Kelly MacFarland is a local talent from Winthrop who has appeared on the Biggest Loser, a regular at the comedy connection, and now touring all over the US. She been generous enough to offer her talents for us for one night with two of her friends. Graig Murphy, Boston Comedy Festival and WEEI; and Jimmy Dunn, NESN and Jimmy Kimmel Live.

Tickets: Tickets will go on sale March 1st. The price is $25.00 per ticket. But a special offer to all firefighters and rescue personal, we are offering two tickets for $45.00 if paid by March 15th. Checks are to be made payable to: The Mount Vernon Fire Company

A cash bar will be available with light snacks. We encourage everyone to attend this event, for once we don't have to drive to Portland to see this kind of talent. The content for this event would be considered adult oriented and inappropriate for children, so please consider that when ordering tickets.

The proceeds from this event have been earmarked for upgrading our computer systems.
